Birishiri located at Shushong Durgapur Thana of the Netrokona District about 175 km north from Dhaka. It's a wonderful place with river, garo, ceramic hills, small mountains and the green countryside. The main attraction of Birishiri is the ceramic hill of Durgapur and the picturesque landscape along the Shomeshwari River. It’s not only blessed by the above, is also reach in ethnic culture as there are many ethnic groups like – Hajong, Garo, Achik and Mandi etc lives here. There is also an ethnic museum at Birishiri.
